Legal & Privacy

Your privacy.
Plain language.

We are a staffing firm, and placing people is what we do. That means we share candidate information with client firms — this policy explains exactly what we share, with whom, and how you control it.

Privacy Policy — Effective June 8, 2026

1 — About This Policy

Consulting for Architects, Inc. (“CFA,” “we,” “us”) is a staffing and recruiting firm serving the architecture, interior design, and engineering industries. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. It applies to cons4arch.com and to information you provide when working with our recruiters.

2 — Information We Collect

From candidates and job seekers

From client firms

From website visitors

3 — How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to:

4 — Who We Share Your Information With

The most important thing to understand: CFA is a placement firm. Placing candidates at architecture and design firms is our core service. When we present you for a role, your qualifications — resume, portfolio, relevant assessment results — are shared with the hiring firm by name. If you engage our recruiters, this sharing is integral to the service.

Client firms

When we present a candidate for a role, we share that candidate’s professional information with the hiring firm. We do not share information with firms for purposes unrelated to a specific search.

Service providers

We use third-party platforms to operate our business. Each provider accesses your information only as necessary to perform its service and is prohibited from using it for other purposes.

Legal requirements

We may disclose information when required by applicable law, court order, or to protect our legal rights.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for marketing purposes unrelated to our staffing services.

5 — Candidate Profiles and Public Pages

We do not publish personal information — names, contact details, or portfolio links — on any publicly accessible page of this website. Candidate information is shared only with relevant hiring firms, privately.

6 — Your Choices

Access and correction

You may request a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct inaccuracies, by emailing recruiters@cons4arch.com.

Deletion

You may request that we delete your information from our records. We will honor such requests to the extent not inconsistent with legal obligations or legitimate business needs (for example, we may retain basic records of a completed placement for tax or legal purposes).

Newsletter opt-out

Every Field Notes email contains an unsubscribe link. You may also email us at recruiters@cons4arch.com to be removed.

7 — California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, to request deletion of your personal information, to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information), and to non-discrimination for exercising these rights.

To submit a request, email recruiters@cons4arch.com with “California Privacy Request” in the subject line.

8 — New York (SHIELD Act)

We maintain reasonable data security practices consistent with New York’s SHIELD Act, including administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate for a firm of our size handling professional information.

9 — Data Security and Retention

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No electronic system is 100% secure. We retain candidate information for as long as you are actively available for placement, and for a reasonable period thereafter. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 6).

10 — Children

Our services are for working professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, please contact us immediately.

11 — Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be noted with a revised effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our website or services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
