Built to be used
by everyone.
We are committed to making cons4arch.com accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. This statement describes our current efforts, known limitations, and how to reach us for assistance.
Accessibility Statement — Effective June 11, 2026
Our Commitment
Consulting for Architects, Inc. aims to meet Level AA conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we are continually working to improve the experience for all users.
What We’ve Done
The current version of cons4arch.com was built with accessibility in mind from the ground up:
- Semantic HTML5 landmarks and heading structure — reviewed in our June 2026 audit, with the issues it found corrected
- Descriptive alternative text on all meaningful images (verified sitewide in the June 2026 audit)
- Color contrast checked against WCAG 2.1 AA thresholds across our key page templates; the contrast issues our June 2026 audit identified were corrected
- Built on native, keyboard-operable HTML controls, with visible focus indicators on interactive elements
- Responsive design intended to adapt across screen sizes and browser zoom levels
- No content that flashes more than three times per second
- ARIA labels on icon-only controls and navigation landmarks
- Structured data (Schema.org JSON-LD) for screen-reader-friendly rich results
How We Check
We audit our key page templates with automated tooling (Google Lighthouse, which applies the axe accessibility ruleset). Our most recent audit — June 11, 2026, covering 16 core templates — surfaced four classes of issues; we corrected all of them the same day, and every re-audited template now scores 100/100 on the Lighthouse accessibility category. Automated checks are a floor, not a ceiling — they cannot catch every barrier a real person may encounter, which is why the assistance channel below matters to us.
Known Limitations
We are aware of the following areas where accessibility may be limited:
- Third-party iframes — the job listings powered by JobDiva and the CFAeX assessments powered by ClassMarker are embedded from external platforms. Their internal interfaces may not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA. We are working with our vendors to address known issues and encourage them to meet the same standards.
- Forms — our Request Talent and Refer-a-Friend forms are native HTML we build and maintain, with standard labels, keyboard access, and visible focus states; submissions are delivered by Web3Forms.
- Older downloadable documents — any PDF documents linked from the site may not be fully accessible. If you need a document in an alternative format, please contact us.
